GAVO, the Integrated Wellbeing Network and Caerphilly Library Service collaborated on hosting a WellMan day at Risca Library on Monday 19th February 2024.
The event was attended by a number of support organisations, such as Help Me Quit, SHADE Self Help group, Welsh Ambulance service and St John Ambulance...
...Smart Money Cymru, GoConnect, Homestart, Aneurin Bevan University Health Board, Connectors, Bowel Cancer UK, Dewis and much more!
We also had free activities - woodworking with Salvaged Creations, free blood pressure checks with Gwent Defibbers and VR testing with GoConnect!
We had great feedback and it was lovely to see so many community members chatting to services, and enjoying the activities!
