With over 24 years’ experience in the voluntary sector, I bring wide-ranging expertise in community development, project management, and leadership. I support community groups and social enterprises to strengthen governance, secure sustainable funding, and create lasting, positive change through effective partnerships and well-managed, impactful projects.

I’ve supported communities across Caerphilly for many years, helping new and established groups grow and succeed. I provide practical guidance, reliable information, and tailored support to empower communities to build sustainable, inclusive, and effective projects that reflect their values and goals.

I support young people aged 14–25 to explore volunteering opportunities and connect with projects that match their interests. I also help deliver the Youth Led Grant, which funds projects run by young people. It’s inspiring to see the passion and dedication of young people across our borough!

I am the Organisational Development (OD) Lead. OD - which is another term for Capacity Building and is concerned with facilitating positive change in organisations through an evidence based, holistic and humanistic approach that puts people at the heart of the process.  

I work with community groups and voluntary organisations across the region to help them grow, develop, and make a positive local impact. From setting up new groups to strengthening governance, finding funding, recruiting volunteers, and developing projects, I provide guidance, connections, and resources to help organisations thrive.

I help bridge the gap between the Third Sector and health, social care, and wellbeing services. Representing voluntary and community organisations at local and regional forums, I ensure their voice is heard. I also provide guidance on funding, training, and health and wellbeing activities within Caerphilly.

In my role I am responsible for the recruitment of volunteers over the age of 25, helping to promote volunteer opportunities, and celebrating voluntary success in Caerphilly.
