The GAVO Monmouthshire team provides all aspects of Community development, and Health & Social care that identifies gaps in provisions and services. The team are keen to work in partnership with other third sector, public sector and Private sector to achieve these aims.

Volunteering

We provide support, advice, guidance and recognition across Monmouthshire for all things Volunteering! Becoming a Volunteer allows you to make a difference in your community!

Community Development

We provide support & advice to the Third Sector in Monmouthshire, including Community and Voluntary Groups as well as individuals who are interested in helping and supporting their community.

Health & Wellbeing

GAVO’s Health, Social Care & Wellbeing Partnership Officers are here to support partnership working between the Third sector and other providers of health, social care and wellbeing services across Monmouthshire.

Education Programme for Patients (EPP)

EPP Cymru provides a range of award winning self-management health and well-being courses and workshops for people living with a health condition or for those who care for someone with a health condition.

The Wellbeing Links Service

The GP Wellbeing Links Service is a partnership between Primary Care, GAVO and MCC. Each GP surgery in Monmouthshire has a Wellbeing Links Advisor who is available to meet patients who are struggling with stress, anxiety or depression due to 'non-medical' issues.
