The GAVO Monmouthshire team provides all aspects of Community development, and Health & Social care that identifies gaps in provisions and services.  The team are keen to work in partnership with other third sector, public sector and Private sector to achieve these aims.

We provide support & advice to the Third Sector in Monmouthshire, including Community and Voluntary Groups as well as individuals who are interested in helping and supporting their community.

Education Programme for Patients (EPP)

EPP Cymru provides a range of award winning self-management health and well-being courses and workshops for people living with a health condition or for those who care for someone with a health condition.

The Wellbeing Links Service

The GP Wellbeing Links Service is a partnership between Primary Care, GAVO and MCC. Each GP surgery in Monmouthshire has a Wellbeing Links Advisor who is available to meet patients who are struggling with stress, anxiety or depression due to 'non-medical' issues.

After over 25 years of working in the community I remain passionate about the difference we can all make when we work collaboratively. We have a highly committed and skilled range of staff in Monmouthshire who are here to support groups and individuals to make a lasting difference in their communities.

Groups and individuals are invited to get in contact for advice on third sector governance, writing funding bids, identifying funding opportunities and developing their policies and procedures. I also link with other providers locally, public and third sector, to encourage partnership working.

My role is to help community groups and voluntary organisations to get set up and to thrive. I cover north Monmouthshire and have special responsibility for rural projects across the whole county, please get in touch if I can support you in any way.
