Caerphilly Volunteer Recognition Awards 2024

The GAVO Volunteer Recognition Awards evening held at Blackwood Rugby Club on Tuesday 8th of October was a resounding success and very much enjoyed by all.

The occasion is a small gesture that goes some small way toward recognising the incredible work of volunteers who give up their time freely to provide support to their communities.

A massive congratulations to all those who received an award!

Of course, this is only a small number out of the hundreds, if not thousands, of volunteers across the Caerphilly County Borough.

This year's event was proudly sponsored by Weston FM Group, Caerphilly County Borough Council, the Caerphilly Observer, Blackwood Town Council and United Welsh Housing Association.

A huge thank you to Blackwood Rugby Club for accommodating the event and for providing an exceptional service on the night
