Nominations are now open for the GAVO Volunteer Awards 2023.
Taking place this September and October, the annual awards will celebrate the incredible work of volunteers in Blaenau Gwent, Caerphilly, Monmouthshire and Newport. The awards are an opportunity to say thank you to those that make a positive impact in their community.
Each day thousands of people give their time freely to protect the environment, lead youth activities, preserve our heritage, support those in need and respond to international crisis.
You can nominate an individual or group in the following categories:
Trustee
Food Sustainability
Sport
Community Inclusion
Environmental
Young Volunteer(s) of the Year (14-25)
Parent & Child
Health & Wellbeing
Inspirational
Welsh Culture and Heritage
A panel of local community representatives will choose one winner and one runner up in each category who will be invited to attend our regional awards later this year.
The closing date for nominations is Friday 14th July.
