What’s on Offer?

Grants of £1,000 up to £25,000 are available to support projects

that:

Enhance community facilities
Improve green spaces
Strengthen pride in place across Blaenau Gwent
This funding is designed to support practical, lasting improvements that make our communities more sustainable, accessible, and vibrant.

Funding Levels

Up to £25,000 – Ebbw Fawr and Upper/Lower Ebbw Fach valleys

Up to £10,000 – Sirhowy Valley

Up to £10,000 – Sports organisations

No match funding required

What Can Be Funded?

Funding is available for capital projects only, including:

Projects must demonstrate clear community benefit, strong

local support, and be completed by 28 February 2027.

Key Dates

Launch: 1 June 2026

Round 2 Opens: 7 September 2026

Round 2 Deadline: 16 October 2026

Important Information

Applications and funding awards will be determined as they

are received and on a first come first served basis.

We anticipate a high level of interest in this fund and

encourage all potential applicants to be proactive in

developing their ideas and submitting applications early.

As funding is limited, the scheme will close once all available

funding has been allocated.
