Have you ever looked around your community and thought about the stories woven into its buildings, landscapes, or traditions? Maybe there's a piece of local heritage waiting to be celebrated — a forgotten pastime, a unique habitat, or a cultural treasure that deserves to be shared.
If your community group has an idea that could help preserve and promote these important pieces of the past, we’re here to help you make it happen.
Through the National Lottery Heritage Fund, grants ranging from £10,000 to £250,000 are available to support projects that connect people with heritage — whether it’s cultural, natural, or historical.
To help you take the first step, we’re inviting you to an informal online session where you can meet the funders, ask questions, and get inspired. This ‘Meet the Funder’ webinar will take place on Wednesday, 30th April from 6pm to 7pm.
During the session, you’ll discover:
How heritage projects can benefit people, places, and the environment
What goes into a well-planned, successful application
Tips for writing a strong funding proposal for the Heritage Fund
You’ll also have the opportunity to share your ideas, get feedback, or simply listen in and learn from others — no pressure, just possibilities.
If you're ready to explore how your project can bring heritage to life for your community, we’d love to see you there.
