The Community Facilities Programme is a capital grant scheme from the Welsh Government designed to support the improvement of community spaces across Wales. Open to community-led organisations, including charities, voluntary groups, and social enterprises, the programme offers:

  • Small grants up to £25,000

  • Larger grants up to £300,000 (Open from 1st October 2025)

Funding is available for physical improvements to community facilities, including buildings, land, and essential equipment. Projects must demonstrate strong community involvement, partnership working, and long-term sustainability, while also addressing issues such as inequality, climate and nature emergencies, and digital inclusion.

Eligible organisations must have a constitution, a bank account with dual signatories, and limited unrestricted reserves. Applications are assessed on criteria including community benefit, collaboration, and environmental impact.

This is a fantastic opportunity for third sector organisations to enhance local services, empower communities, and create inclusive, resilient spaces.
