Deputy Chief Executive Officer (Vacancy)

The Deputy Chief Executive Officer will act as a senior strategic leader within GAVO, strengthening external influence, partnership working and national engagement, while providing clear direction and oversight of the organisation’s Strategic and Operational Plans.

The DCEO plays a critical role in connecting GAVO’s delivery, partnerships and national work, ensuring the organisation is strategically positioned, responsive to opportunity and aligned with the expectations of the Board, funders and the Third Sector Support Wales (TSSW) framework.

Salary: SCP 48-50 (£50,683 - £52,878 pa)

Hours: 37 per week (Monday to Friday)

Contract: Permanent

Location: Office based with supported agile working across GAVO offices in Gwent (Caerphilly, Blaenau Gwent, Monmouthshire, Newport).
