There’s something truly special happening at Little Pips Cuppa Club 💛
Recently crowned winners at the MVA 2025 (GAVO and Monmouthshire Housing Association Volunteer Awards) as ‘Business in the Heart of the Community’, Little Pips is shining brightly — and after seeing it for ourselves, it’s easy to understand why.

My colleague, Chris Irving, and I had the pleasure of visiting Claire Duddridge, the heart and driving force behind Little Pips, to see Little Pips Cuppa Club in action. The hall was full — Mums, Dads and their babies gathered together in a warm, welcoming space that instantly felt supportive and relaxed. There was chatter, laughter, shared experiences… and plenty of tea flowing!

Claire is deeply passionate about ensuring that all families have access to impartial, evidence-based information and non-judgemental support at every stage of their parenting journey. She understands the very real pressure on parents today — the constant noise about the latest parenting apps, must-have toys, and “perfect” ways to do things. For many, that pressure can feel overwhelming.
Little Pips gently reminds us all of something important:
✨ You can’t put a price on compassionate conversations with people who are going through the same thing as you.
There are no expectations, no judgement — just reassurance, shared stories, and a safe space to ask questions and connect.
If you haven’t yet experienced it, Little Pips Cuppa Club runs on term time- Fridays from 10am–11:30am at Portskewett & Sudbrook Recreation Hall. Whether you’re a new parent or further along in your journey, you’ll be welcomed with open arms.
And finally — feeling inspired? The Monmouthshire Volunteer Awards will be back again this October, with nomination forms going live in June. Keep an eye on our website and social media channels for details — we can’t wait to celebrate more incredible community champions just like Little Pips! 🌟
