Volunteers are the heartbeat of Newport’s voluntary sector. Their time, energy, and commitment are essential to the success of countless local organisations that make a real difference in our community every day.
To support both individuals aged 25+ interested in volunteering and the organisations that rely on them, we're excited to introduce our Monthly Volunteering Surgery — a space for connection, guidance, and action.

Join us every 4 weeks at The Place, Bridge Street, Newport City Centre.
These friendly, bookable sessions are designed for:
Local people who are thinking about volunteering and want to explore the right opportunity.
Voluntary organisations or projects in need of volunteers, advice, or recruitment support.

Receive expert support if your group or project is looking to recruit volunteers — including help with defining roles and setting expectations, just like a job description.
