Applications Open for Newport Community Development and Grassroots Sports Grants
Community organisations, charities, social enterprises and grassroots sports groups in Newport are being encouraged to apply for two new funding opportunities designed to support local projects and strengthen communities across the city. Applications are now open and will close on 28 August 2026. The funding from the council is available through: Community Development Grant Scheme – grants from £500 to £30,000, with higher-value requests considered in exceptional circumstance
